Overlooking the Tyne Valley on the North bank of the river, the village and it's history dates back to the 16th century. Surrounded by farm land, woodland and wildlife, the residence of Ovington enjoy a peaceful countryside setting with stunning scenery on their doorstep whilst being a stone-trow away from social hubs such as Hexham and Prudhoe.

A well established and very active community group within the village arrange occasional Fates and regular social gatherings along side a dedicated parish council who meet every 2 months in the social club located within the village.
